Innovation in Action

From Ideas to Implementation

Innovation Hangar

The Hangar, Delta's global innovation center, is the physical hub for the Delta Innovation business unit. It is where we bring our people, business & university partners, customers, and community together to solve difficult challenges through proven ideation and design methodologies. Located in Midtown Atlanta’s Tech Square, The Hangar is a collaborative space for design ideation, rapid prototyping, and innovation training.

MULTI-SENSORY ROOMS

Our innovative multi-sensory rooms located at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and at New York-LaGuardia International Airport (LGA) offer a calm atmosphere and supportive environment for customers with sensory sensitivities and their families as they travel.

Groundbreaking Parallel RealityTM Technology

Customers will see personalized flight information tailored to their unique trip and airport navigation information on a single, shared digital screen – even as they stand next to dozens of other customers. This first-in-class technology is available at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Concourse A. With this technology, we're excited to help simplify our customer's journey through the airport with our partner, Misapplied Sciences.
