Tad Hutcheson
V.P. — Community Affairs
Tad Hutcheson serves as Vice President – Community Affairs for Delta Air Lines responsible for building the airline’s brand in the communities it serves by partnering with key non-profit organizations.
Tad rejoined Delta in late 2011, 16 years after his first stint at the airline. Prior to rejoining, he served as Vice President – Marketing and Sales for AirTran Airways where he oversaw Marketing, Sales, e-Commerce, Public Relations and the loyalty program. In addition, Tad served as Vice President – Marketing and Business Development for KIWI International Air Lines, a new entrant carrier in the mid-1990’s.
A graduate of Leadership Atlanta, Tad is active in the Atlanta community serving on many boards including the Atlanta Business League, Atlanta Police Foundation, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Central Atlanta Progress, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement of Georgia, King College, Leadership Atlanta, the Marketing Roundtable, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and The Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta. Tad is also chairman of the Board of Directors for the Delta Flight Museum.
He has received numerous awards for his community involvement including a Centurion Award from HOPE ATL, the League Leadership Award from the Atlanta Business League, the Y’s Man Award from the YWCA, a Whitney M. Young Service Award from the Boy Scouts, and the Aspire Award from Junior Achievement.
Tad holds a bachelor’s degree from King College and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
